Plan Details
  • This mountain home plan gives a new meaning to rustic. If mountain charm & warmth are what you desire then this house is perfect for you. The exterior has life pine shakes, large wood posts & stone pier columns with brackets and exposed beams. A two-story stone fireplace adds even more rustic charm to the elevation.
  • As you enter the front door the wood beamed ceiling of the living and dining room with its stone fireplace redefine the word warmth. This vaulted room adds volume and space to the area while windows extending above the doors flood the room with natural light. Patio doors lead to a large deck adding the pleasure of an outdoor living space.
  • The kitchen, open to the living and dining areas, adds to the comfortable spacious feeling of the main level space. Next to the kitchen is an efficient laundry room and linen closet for storage.
  • The master bedroom is conveniently located near the laundry and has a large walk-in closet, a very roomy bath with a soaking tub, a glass shower and a separate toilet room.
  • A powder room is next to the kitchen for your guest's convenience.
  • Upstairs, a balcony overlooks the living and dining areas with a loft and skylight. In addition, this level has two bedrooms each with triple windows and a shared bath.
  • The basement space is unfinished making room for future expansion if needed or desired.
  • The primary roof pitch for this home is 11:12 and the shed dormer is 4:12.

What's Included

What is Included in Our Plans?

We work with hundreds of designers and architects who work in a variety of styles.  It is important to note. Their plan packages may contain different details.

We strongly encourage you to contact us for the contents of any plan you may be interested in purchasing.

Below are examples of sheets that may be included in plan sets - please be aware that not every plan includes every one of these pages:

Foundation Plan

shows the foundation details.

Floor Plan

shows the placement of interior walls and the dimensions for rooms, doors, windows, stairways, etc. of each level of the house.

Exterior Elevations

show the front, rear and sides of the house, including exterior materials, details and roof pitches.

Building Cross Section

shows details of the house as though it were cut in slices from the roof to the foundation. The cross sections detail the construction of the home, insulation, flooring and roofing.

Roof Plan

provides a bird's eye view of the roof's valleys, ridges and dormers, if applicable

Electrical Plan (when available)

  •           Architectural or Engineering Stamp
  •           Site Plan
  •           Mechanical Drawings (location of heating and air equipment and duct work)

  •           Energy calculations
  •           Materials list - MAY be available as a purchasable option under the "Options" tab

Building Code

Because of the wide range of requirements throughout states and municipalities, it is possible that the plans may not have all of the information required by your building department. If this is the case, we recommend hiring a local design professional or engineer who can assist bringing the plans up to your local building code.

Engineering

Some states require that a licensed architect or engineer review and stamp the plans. If this is the case where you will be building, a local professional will be able to assist you.

Important Extras: Sold separately

Readable Reverse Plans

The layout is reversed and all the writing is corrected so you can read the writing. With this option, all of your sets will appear the way you want to build the home. This option is available for an additional charge.

Mirror Reverse Plans

The lettering and dimensions will read backwards, so you will need to order at least one set non-reversed as a reference copy.
